My name is Yara Paoli and I am Skyscanner’s Social Marketing Manager. Skyscanner is Europe’s leading travel search site providing instant online comparisons for millions of flights on over 600 airlines, as well as car hire and hotels. IT professionals, Gareth Williams, Barry Smith and Bonamy Grimes wanted to develop a website where all cheap flights and deals could be found and so in 2003 they founded Skyscanner.

In 2008 the Travel BlogCamp was born, bringing bloggers and the UK travel industry together for the first time – and it was a huge success, in 2009 and 2010 the size of the event increased and so did its popularity.
