Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete the Travel BlogCamp survey. The results are very encouraging and many of your ideas and suggestions will be used to make the next event even more successful.

What’s next?

I have plans to organise Travel BlogCamp North in May 2010 in my home city of Leeds, but planning is at a very early stage and I will have to see how much interest the event has considering it’ll not be held during an exhibition like World Travel Market.

It will be a new challenge!

For those of you who don’t fancy a trip up North, you’ll be glad to know that planning for Travel BlogCamp 2010 @ World Travel Market will kick-off around September next year, but a long way off yet!

I have a few ideas that I would love to share with you but for now watch this space …

The last few months have flown by and Travel BlogCamp is just around the corner. I am bias of course, but what I love about the event is that it’s informal, has great networking opportunities and it’s good to learn from others experiences. I hope everyone attending gets something out of the night, even if it’s just to put faces to names.

Yep, a fantastic response, all places for this year’s Travel BlogCamp are taken. I have opened up a waiting list, simply visit the registration page and click on the ‘book place(s)’ link to be added to the waiting list. Next week I will be publishing a list of attendee’s but looking at the list last night, we have a great mixture of bloggers, writers, journalists and people from travel companies attending.

More information will be available here soon, but to confirm that registration has opened for Travel BlogCamp 2009. The event is free but to register you will need to complete the registration form. We are limited with space so only 2 tickets per company/party will be allowed.

A waiting list will be created once the places have been taken and I’ll be in touch if any spaces become available.

When I had the idea behind the Travel BlogCamp last summer, a few people were surprised that someone would think about organising a travel event in a London bar. Well, the inaugural event went down well, feedback was constructive and mostly positive.

My vision for this event and future ones is to create an informal environment where we can all learn from each other’s experiences using social media and blogs. No matter if you are an independent blogger or work for a company in the travel industry.
